Parent and Family Support

How it works
Parent and Family Support offers supportive, practical guidance for parents and carers who want to better understand their child’s emotions, behaviour and needs. Sessions are collaborative, non‑judgemental and grounded in trauma‑informed, relational practice. The focus is on helping adults feel more confident, connected and equipped to support their child at home and in partnership with school.

This includes:
-
Parent and Family Support which is available 1:1 or in small groups, depending on what best supports the family
-
Hamish & Milo Families Together - a structured, strengths‑based parent and child programme designed to build emotional connection and shared wellbeing at home
-
Both approaches strengthen the home–school relationship and ensure children experience consistent, attuned responses across environments.
Who benefits?
Parent and Family Support (offered 1:1 or in small groups) is particularly helpful for families where parents or carers are:
-
feeling overwhelmed, confused or exhausted when their child is struggling emotionally or their confidence drops
-

-
wanting to strengthen emotional resilience and deepen their connection with their child
-

-
